The education of Grandma Summary

The Education of Grandma is about the relationship between a young girl named Katia and her Russian Grandma.

In the beginning of the story, Katia’s mother was arguing with her Russian grandmother because she was going on about her granddaughter doesn't need an education.

After that, Katia was sick of hearing of her grandmother nagging her to not go to school. The next day Katia scammed her grandmother in to reading. Them after, Katia was achieving her goal, into get her grandmother interested in an English education. Finally her Russian grandmother learned how to spell her name and also read little books. Katia was on a role with helping her Russian Grandma learn the English-language.

During one afternoon, when Katia arrived home after school, her grandmother asked her to write a love letter, but Katia decided to teach her the whole alphabet.” why not stop" ,said Katia.

At the end of the story, Katia and her Russian Grandma learned something about each other and made their relationship a lot better.
